The idyllic English village of Upton Grey, near Basingstoke in Hampshire, played host to this couple’s perfect English wedding marquee.
After several postponements, the couple were finally able to celebrate in a 12m x 21m frame marquee. In this situation, the wedding marquee was located in the groom’s family garden. More Hampshire Marquee details are here.
The bride wanted to ensure that the dining space of the frame wedding marquee remained intimate and that there weren’t large open spaces visible. To achieve this a reveal curtain was put in place.
A rustic hanging plank was suspended above the dining area where there was a traditional top table and clothed round 5.6ft tables seating 10 guests at each. For hanging florals the frame marquee offers the best options owing to the infrastructure of the design – the possibilities are endless.
The beauty with the frame marquee wedding is that there is a lot of flexibility and opportunities to really create a space fitting to your needs and bespoke to your own ideas.
